세 녀석들이 교정에서 아빠 자랑들을 했다.
"우리 아빠는 종이 한 장에 몇자 찍찍 갈겨놓고는 시라고 해서 50달러나 받어"라고 한 녀석이 말했다.
"그건 아무것도 아냐.우리 아빠는 종이 한 장에 몇 자 찍찍 갈겨놓고는 가사라고 해서 100달러를 받는단 말야"라고 다음 녀석이 말했다.
그러자 세 번째가 나섰다.
"너희 둘 다 안 되겠어. 우리 아빠는 있지, 종이 한 장에 몇 자 휘갈겨놓고는 설교라고 하는데 그 걸 하고 나면 여덟 사람이 나서서 돈을 걷어들여야 한단 말야!"

Three boys are in the schoolyard bragging about their fathers.
The first boy says, "My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a poem and they give him $50."
The second boy says, "That's nothing. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a song and they give him $100."
The third boy says, "I got you both beat. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a sermon. And, it takes eight people to collect all the money!"
